Best Buy - Home Employee Portraits

Part of Best Buys new brand is portraits, but up until this point, they were mostly of customers and Blue Shirts. So in 2019 I art directed a set of portraits portraying the members of our team who work out in the field, often going into customers homes.

We captured members from our Geek Squad Agent and Install teams, Best Buy fo Business and Education, and Magnolia and Pac Sales partners. These are the people who help you design you home theater experience, hang your new tv, measure your kitchen for new appliances, or even help you outfit an entire school with new tech.

Part of my role was to help cast, direct stylists, give art direction to the photographer, and give direction on editing and asset distribution. But because not all of the people we shot were talent, and many were real Best Buy employees, a huge pat of my job was making them feel comfortable on camera, and open up so we could capture their personalities.
